MY SOLITUDE

Bearing the weight, the magnitude,
Scattered debris and shattered hope,
Unknown dimension yet dreams unfold,
A broken cistern, my solitude.

A thirsty desert and dusty road,
Unfigured terrain and unknown world,
An empty vessel yet filled with words,
Looking for answer but none resolved.

Alas! I felt a prairie wind kissed!
Embraced the silence, comfort prevailed,
Trying to clench, embracing still,
Grasping Your spirit, Thy presence feel.
